Stories from the front lines of conservation, highlighting the people, wildlife, and initiatives working to protect our planet.
Wild Entrust brings together three complementary programs: Coaching Conservation, Community Coexistence, and Botswana Predator Conservation, to promote wildlife conservation through research, education, and collaboration with local communities; to develop practical solutions that reduce conflict between people and wildlife. During my time with the organization, I documented innovative coexistence strategies, including managing cattle owners and farms to protect livestock from large carnivores. This portfolio highlights the intersection of science, conservation, and the people working to ensure that both wildlife and local livelihoods can thrive.

Ecoexist is dedicated to promoting coexistence between people and elephants in Botswana's Okavango Delta, where expanding human settlements overlap with one of Africa's largest elephant populations. Through photography, I documented the daily lives of local communities, the challenges they face, and the innovative conservation initiatives that seek to reduce conflict while safeguarding both people and elephants.

In the tropical forests of western Mexico, Espino's family, scientists, and local communities are working together to protect the endangered Mexican Military Macaw. This portfolio follows their efforts to monitor nests, safeguard critical habitat, and inspire conservation through research and education.
